Local Support
Our monthly support meetings, for bereaved parents, family and friends take place on the first Monday of the month from 8.00pm to 9.30pm and are facilitated by Sands trained Befrienders.
With the Sands trained Befrienders in attendance, they are an opportunity to meet with others who have been through a similar experience. We offer emotional support, to listen, help, guide and give comfort whether your baby has died during pregnancy, at birth, or soon afterwards.
We know that attending your first support meeting can be daunting. You are more than welcome to come earlier at 7:45pm, where we can arrange to meet you at the front entrance, so we can talk you through what to expect and meet our Befrienders.
WHEN: The meetings take place on the first Monday of the month from 8.00pm to 9.30pm
